West Kirby Dog Walking Field

At your own risk –

You agree that your use of the field ‘West Kirby Dog Field’ is at your own risk, and not to hold the owners (WJ and AM Holme and Son) responsible for any injury to you, family/friends or your dogs arising from the use of the field.

The field may be uneven in places, which could be concealed by long grass/vegetation. There may also be sharp branches, brambles and other natural hazards consistent with the countryside and care should be paid at all times.

 

Who uses the field –

When booking the field you are agreeing that it is for your own personal use and not as a business. 

You are welcome to bring family/friends to join you, however if they have their own dogs, this must be organised in advance and a special price will be arranged.  Anyone who accompanies you to the field must also adhere to our terms and conditions.

Children are of course very welcome, they must be supervised at all times and you are responsible for making sure they follow the terms and conditions. 

 

The fence –

The fence is inspected and maintained regularly, however, holes or other damage to the fence that may arise from dogs/animals digging, trees and branches and general wear and tear may occur.  If you become aware of any damage to the fence then please notify us immediately so that it can be rectified and so that we can make other field users aware.  We cannot however take any responsibility for any dog escaping the field whether or not this is through a defect in fence.

 

Using the field –

You must drive into the field and close the gate behind you before letting your dogs out of the vehicle, to ensure the safety of your dogs and members of the public.

*whilst conditions are dry you can park anywhere on the field, however once the field becomes softer we will be installing hard standing and all vehicles must park on the hard standing*

We ask that when your session ends,and your dogs are loaded into your vehicle, that you close the gate behind you and lock with the padlock provided.

To ensure safety of other dog walkers and their dogs on the field we ask that you do not arrive early for your booking and vacate the field and leave it secure by the end of your session.

You must clear up any of your dogs waste and dispose of it in the bin provided,  we will cut the grass for animal fodder and dog waste can cause serious illness to our animals so we must insist that dog waste is always removed.

 

Booking the field –

All bookings must be paid for in advance, either via our website or in person at the farm.

If you are booking for the same day we may not be able to get the gate code to you in time (usually via confirmation text), so please call 07503491473 as soon as payment is made and we will give you the code.

 

Cancellations –

We do not offer refunds for cancelled sessions.  Where possible, if 24 hours notice is given, we will rebook your session.  If less that 24 hours notice is given we cannot guarantee that we can reschedule.
